The apparatus senses the tacking depth or number according to the thickness and area of the fish box, and adjusts the differences of tacking depth or area so that it can make regulated tacking operation. The apparatus comprises a work plate(4) formed by inserting support plates(1,1') into support columes(2,2',3); a box fixture(14) equipped at a side of the work plate(4); a drive shaft rod(8) inserted into the support columns(3); one chain spracket(7) fitted on the shaft rod of a motor box(6); an other chain spracket(7') interlocked with the spracket(7); the other chain sprackets(17',17"); a tacking tool(12); a support rod(10).
