<p>A working vehicle (10) is described, having an axle (28) which bears steerable wheels (20), also having a drive engine (28) and a cooling system (30) for the drive engine (26). The drive engine (26) is located directly over the front axle (28). The cooling system (30) is arranged at a sufficient distance from the drive engine (26) for even large tyres (20) to be able to engage in an intermediate space (A) between drive engine (26) and cooling system (30) when the steering angle is changed. This permits the vehicle to be manoeuvred easily with a small turning circle and permits very good visibility between the front tyres. The gearing (32) is constructed to be high and very narrow and is located directly in front of the vehicle cab (16). As a result, a vehicle is obtained with a narrow outline by means of which the field of vision between the front wheels (20) is further increased. As a result of the position of the gearing (32) the space under the vehicle cab (16) remains free and can accommodate an enlarged fuel tank (34).
