INK REPLENISHMENT METHOD OF INK-JET PRINTING CARTRIDGE

PURPOSE: To enable the continuous use of one pen main body and a printing head by adding ink to the reservoir of a printing cartridge and restoring the fluid communication between the internal space of an accumulator and the open air. CONSTITUTION: When the fluid communication between the inside and outside of an accumulator bag 42 is cut off, a spherical cock is detached from a reservoir port 41 in order to open a reservior for the purpose of adding ink. This cock can be detached by using a needle or a marking-off needle. It becomes necessary to replace the cock with a new one in order to close the reservoir port 41 after the completion of ink refilling work. The back pressure in the reservoir is lost immediately after the reservoir is opened by detaching the cock but immediately restored when a pen is refilled. In the detachment of the cock, the cock may be pushed out of the port 41 by using a punch or a similar mechanism to be pushed in the reservoir.
