PURPOSE:To provide an apparatus for rearing aquatic animals, used for life science experiments, etc., for space and capable of housing each animal in an individual water tank and simultaneously rearing the many animals. CONSTITUTION:This apparatus for rearing aquatic animals is formed by installing a life support system 3 capable of purifying growing water and carrying out gas exchange in the water, a manifold 2 connected through a pair of forward and return connecting pipes (9A) to the life support system 3, plural hermetically sealed water tanks 1 connected through a pair of forward and return connecting pipes (9B) to the manifold 2 respectively, connecting devices 5 installed in the connecting pipes connected to the respective hermetically sealed water tanks respectively and capable of connecting, releasing and separating therefrom and closing the separated ends, bypass pipes (9C) making parts between the connecting devices of the pair of connecting pipes connected to the respective hermetically sealed water tanks and the manifold mutually communicate and bypass valves 7 installed on the bypass pipes. |
