PURPOSE:To provide a sealing device in which invasion of dust or muddy water into a bearing is prevented and leakage of lubricant in the bearing to the outward is prevented. CONSTITUTION:A seal ring 4 having a cylindrical part 5, a flange 6, and a taper part 7 is fitted to the inner diameter side of the end part of an outer ring 1. A core metal 8 having a cylindrical part 9 and a flange 10 is fitted to the outer diameter side of the end part of an inner ring 2. An elastic seal 12 is fixedly secured to the core metal 8. A radial lip 13 and a first side lip 14 provided on the elastic seal 12 are formed so as to face to the outside of a bearing, and the respective lips 13, 14 are slidably contacted with the seal ring 4 so as to prevent invasion of muddy water or dust into the bearing. A second side lip 15 formed on the elastic seal 12 is slidably contacted with the inside face of the taper part 7 of the seal ring 4 so as to prevent leakage of lubricant to the outward. |
