PURPOSE:To produce a powder of Ni-Zn ferrite which is suitable for the lower- temperature burning material to be used in the printing process or the green sheet process. CONSTITUTION:The Ni-Zn ferrite powder composition is prepared by burning a mixture of 46-50 mole % of Fe2O3, less than 35 mole % of ZnO, 8 to 18 mole % of CuO, 15 to 50 mole % of NiO and the rest of unavoidable impurities at 550 to 700 deg.C and crushing into powder so that the specific surface area may reach 7 to 10m<2>/g, and adding Mo oxide in an amount of less than 3,000ppm calculated as MoO3 in weight. |
