<p>PURPOSE:To suppress the formation of a secondary adventitious embryo from an adventitious embryo, provide the compact adventitious embryo of a uniform size and improve the seedling formation ratio of a young plant body germinated from the adventitious embryo by culturing a plant tissue in a culture medium containing nitrilotriacetic acid. CONSTITUTION:This method for inducing an adventitious embryo is to culture a plant tissue such as a tissue derived from asparagus in a culture medium containing nitrilotriacetic acid and then induce the adventitious embryo and thereby provide the adventitious embryo having a high unigerminal ratio. Furthermore, this method for germinating an adventitious embryo is to culture the adventitious embryo prepared according to an optional method in a culture medium for germinating the adventitious embryo containing the nitrilotriacetic acid and thereby enable an increase in the number of stems of a young plant body germinated from the adventitious embryo.</p> |
