<p>PURPOSE:To securely correct the skew of sheets at the time of carrying sheets. CONSTITUTION:Driving rollers 40, 41 are provided in left and right of the sheet carrying direction, and driven rollers 42, 43 are respectively pushed to these driving rollers 40, 41. Roller shafts 35a, 35b of the left and right driving rollers 40, 41 are connected to each other through a differential device 50. At the time of carrying sheets, when one side of the tip of a skewed sheet enters between the right driving roller 41 and the right driven roller 43 and the loading torque of the driving roller 41 is increased, the differential device 50 stops the rotation of the right driving roller 41 to stop the feeding of the skewed sheet at one side of the tip during the time till the other side of the tip of the skewed sheet enters between the left driving roller 40 and the left driven roller 42, and the skew condition is thereby corrected.</p> |
