PURPOSE:To shorten the manufacturing process of vehicular seat and, at the same time, realize the variegated hardening of a seat. CONSTITUTION:Skin 13 is fitted in and bonded to the recessed part 41 of a female mold 4. In the skin 13, mixture of cotton 6 made of polyester fiber and hot melt adhesive is packed. In this case, more cotton 6 is packed in both the side parts of the skin 13 than in its central part. The cotton 6 is compressed with a frame 11, which is installed on a pushing mold 5. Under the state that the cotton is compressed, high temperature steam is supplied through a connecting port 42. Through a large number of small holes formed in the female mold 4, high temperature steam is fed in the cotton 6 in order to melt the hot melt adhesive. After that, the hot metal adhesive is solidified. |
