CHANNEL DETECTING METHOD IN CORDLESS TELEPHONE

The method for searching the free channel in a cordless telephone comprises the steps of: the first search process for searching the received field strength of each channel in regular order; the first dicision process for deciding as a free channel when the received field strength of any channel is not detected; the second search process for detecting the noise of each channel when the received field strength is detected in all channels; the second decision process for deciding as a free channel when the noise is detected in any channel during the second search process; and the final decision process for deciding all channels being busy when the noise is not detected in all channels.
