PRODUCTION OF NAPHTHALENE NITRILE

摘要

PURPOSE:To provide a process for producing a naphthalene nitrile type compound from an alkyl-substituted tetralin compound in a high yield. CONSTITUTION:The catalyst which comprises vanadium and chromium carried on the silica as essential components and optionally at least one selected from molybdenum, boron and phosphorus is used to bring an alkyl-substituted tetralin compound into contact with a mixed gas containing oxygen and ammonia to give a naphthalene nitrile type compound.
