PURPOSE:To obtain a natural calcium preparation containing hard capsule high in opacity, free from surface roughness by mixing a natural calcium fine powder having a specific particle diameter with gelatin. CONSTITUTION:The natural calcium fine powder <=3mum in average particle diameter is obtained by dry-pulverizing by such as a Jet-O-Mizer or wet pulverizing by such as a colloid mill the natural calcium preparation mainly containing calcium carbonate obtained by calcining a natural raw material such as ox bone, oyster shell. After the calcium fine powder is made into an uniform dispersed solution with a dispersion medium by a homogenizer, 0.5-30wt.% natural calcium preparation is added into a gelatin aq. solution to give a gelatin aq. solution for producing the capsule. The hard capsule is produced by using the gelatin aq. solution by a conventional method of dipping method with hard capsule forming machine. |
