PURPOSE:To accelerate decopperizing and detinning from a molten iron. CONSTITUTION:Oxide powder is transported by a plasma flame and the oxide is heated in order to make thermal compensation of an endothermic reaction which takes place at the time of generating carburization by blowing the oxide powder, by which the reaction boundary temp. is maintained high and the decopperizing and detinning rate is improved. As a result, the decopperizing and detinning method of a decarburization combination type from the molten iron (scrap) having reality according to the improvement in the rate of the decopperizing and detinning from the molten iron is obtd.
