PURPOSE:To obtain a resin coated spring member certainly prevented from such a phenomenon that the whole of a spring is corroded from a partially generated crack part and usable under a high temp. condition and having a wide adaptation temp. range by doubly coating a spring main body with a PFA resin and a PTFE resin. CONSTITUTION:The whole of a coil spring 2 is heat-treated at appropriate temp. by a heating device or a heating oven in such a state that the coil spring 2 is covered with a cover tube 3 made of a PFA resin and a cover tube 4 made of a PTFE resin to thermally fuse the inside cover tube 3 to the whole of the outer surface of the coil spring 2. The outside cover tube 4 is thermally shrunk and the opening end parts of the cover tubes 3, 4 are thermally fused to be closed perfectly and hermetically. By this constitution, the whole of the outer surface of the coil spring 2 is integrally molded in the state covered with the cover tubes 3, 4. |
