PURPOSE:To provide a thermal transfer image receiving sheet which has excellent external appearance and surface smoothness as well as excellent concealability. CONSTITUTION:A thermal transfer image receiving sheet 1 comprises a base material sheet 2, and a dye accepting layer 3 provided on one side surface of the sheet 2, wherein the sheet 2 has a core base material 2a, synthetic sheets 2b, 2c laminated on both side surfaces of the material 2, the material 2a is formed of a resin film, all light ray transmittance of the film is 85% or less and all light ray permeabilities of the sheets 2b, 2c are 40% or less. |
