PURPOSE:To prepare a torque tube having torque gradient over an area from the forward end thereof to the grip section by changing the compounding amount of a curing agent and/or reactive elastomer over an area from one end of the tube to the other end. CONSTITUTION:A torque tube T having gradient rigidity has a tube section formed out of a resin body 16 having rigidity increased continuously or incrementally over an area from one end section (a) to the other end section (b). The resin body 16 is made of an epoxy resin, a curing agent and/or reactive elastomer. Also, the epoxy resin composition has a compounding amount of the curing agent and/or reactive elastomer changed over an area from one end of the tube T to the other end. In this case, the curing agent is at least one type selected from products among amines, acid anhydrides, polyamide amines, imidazoles, and polysulfides. Furthermore, the reactive elastomer is one type selected from products expressed by the formula R-X-R, where X denotes a nitryl-butadiene rubber, and R denotes carboxyl group. |
