PURPOSE:To surely cool an oil pan by a cooling water, and moreover to improve sound insulating ability with restraint put on the enlargement of exhaust noise. CONSTITUTION:An exhaust path is made to pierce an oil pan 21 and led below it, and the oil pan 21 and the exhaust path are covered by a common water jacket for cooling water. The inner space S of the oil pan 21 is also formed as a pa.rt of an exhaust expansion chamber. The oil pan 21 is immersed in the cooling water and effectively cooled. Since the cooling water in an outer space B serves as a practical sound insulating body to cover the exhaust path, low noise is produced. The exhaust expansion chamber is large in volume to further improve sound insulating ability. |
