<p>PURPOSE:To provide a wet type friction member of which shift shock can be reduced when it is used for multiple disc clutch of an automatic transmission, and generation of lock up judder can be prevented at controlling slip when it is used for a lock up clutch. CONSTITUTION:In a wet type clutch 1 in which friction plates 3 having wet type friction material and friction partner plates 4 are provided, and the wet type friction material 2 provided on the friction plate 3 is pressed against the friction partner plate 4, the friction partner plate 4 pressedly contacted with the wet type friction material 2 is formed out of iron series sintered alloy, and the pressedly contact face of the friction partner plate 4 made of iron series sintered alloy against the wet type friction material 2 is formed into a grinding finished face 4a remaining blow holes of at least area rate 5%.</p> |
