<p>PURPOSE:To produce an instantaneous sterilizing effect by producing singlet oxygen by application of an ultraviolet ray or an ultraviolet laser beam of specific wavelengths to air containing ozone, and applying a visible ray or visible laser beam, an infrared ray or infrared laser beam of specific wavelengths to the singlet oxygen. CONSTITUTION:An ionizer 6 charges dust to plus and dust particles are electrostatically attracted by a dust-collecting plate 7, and air is charged to minus by the passage of the dust-collecting plate 7 to create a state where ozonization is likely to occur. Part of intake air is produced into ozone by application of an ultraviolet ray 200nm in wavelength from an ultraviolet lamp 8, and the ozone is produced into singlet oxygen by application of ultraviolet rays 240-310nm in wavelength from an ultraviolet lamp 9. Molecules of the singlet oxygen pass through the light film of a visible ray lamp 10 emitting visible rays having wavelengths of 600-650nm and that of an infrared lamp 11 emitting near infrared rays having wavelengths of 1200-1300nm, and thereby transition of the singlet-oxygen molecules to ground-state oxygen molecules occurs along with induced emission of electromagnetic waves, thus sterilizing the air.</p> |
