Dust collector for cleaning air from processes, based on vertical filtering modules, which are sintered or made from fabric reinforced with structure, in which the modules are arranged in rows separated a short distance from one another, with the modules in each row in contact, the entry for soiled air being opened via the inside of the modules. A deflector is arranged at an internal partition in the lower hopper for the entry of soiled air. A filtering surface is achieved which is 45 to 50% greater, and the volume of air processed is increased for the same volume of external structure. <IMAGE>
