METHOD FOR FIXING BAKED PIE COVER ON OPENING OF VESSEL, VESSEL THEREFOR AND PIE DOUGH COVER TO BE USED THEREFOR

PURPOSE:To easily and efficiently fix a baked pie cover to the opening of a vessel without necessitating skilled labor by treating a vessel having a flange at the opening part and a specific pie dough cover under specific treatment condition. CONSTITUTION:A top-opened vessel 1 having a flange 2 formed at the opening part 3 and a pie dough cover 4 made of a pie dough and somewhat larger than the diameter of the flange 2 of the vessel are prepared beforehand. The pie dough cover 4 is placed on the opening 3 of the vessel 1 in such a manner as to close the opening and the position is adjusted to slightly protrude the pie dough cover 4 from the outer circumference of the flange 2 of the vessel 1. The whole assembly is put into an oven and heated to solidify the pie dough cover 4 on the opening 3 of the vessel 1 in a state of baked pie swelling upward as a whole and fix the pie cover to the opening 3 of the vessel 1 by engaging the circumference of the cover with the flange 2 of the vessel 1.
