PURPOSE:To prevent failure in ejection of an ink by controlling the vibration of ink pressure in an ink jet head. CONSTITUTION:In an ink jet head, a sub-heater 8i of a liquid chamber that is provided in a common liquid chamber 82 independently of an ejection heater 8c is continuously driven so that bubbles are continuously generated. Thereby, a natural frequency of a whole ink system in the ink jet head is controlled by varying a position of a boundary surface between a base body and an ink in a bubble buffer cell 1 provided in the common liquid chamber 82 so that vibration of ink pressure generated in the ink system is rendered irregular. As a result, it is possible to prevent failure in ejection when repeating a prescribed pattern. |
