PURPOSE:To simply manufacture at low cost a retainer for bearing in which generation of fretting and abnormal sound is restrained, and simply fit it to a bearing. CONSTITUTION:A belt steel 11 in which pockets are formed at unequal pitch by press punching, is curved so as to form into a ring shaped formed body, and the end parts of the formed body are joined together so as to form a ring- likely continuous retainer 1. Rollers are received in the retainer 1, they are fitted into a bearing, the joined part is broken during operation of the bearing, and the circumferential faces of the retainer 1 are separated from each other so as to function as the one division retainer. |
