The system consists of a heater (3) with gas/water (9) and water/water (13) heat exchangers for domestic heating and hot water respectively. A cooling section (4) has a condenser (30). The heater and cooling section are equipped with pipes (36) which direct the water used for air conditioning through a series of convector-fan units (5). The heater, cooling section and hot water inlet and outlet (23, 24) are carried by a single supporting structure (2) which is in the form of a housing which can be suspended or mounted on a base.
