PURPOSE:To recognize a character string arrangement position image with respect to a whole layout image on layout display by setting the number of characters for one line. CONSTITUTION:A left margin and a right margin are set by a numeric input at a setting mode through a keyboard 11, and the desired number of the characters for one line is selected/set. The setting data is stored in the prescribed register of CPU 13, and the rate of the setting area of the right/left margins with respect to the whole layout of one line is operated based on setting data. The operated result is stored in an A register 15 and a B register 16. The contents of the A register 15 and the B register 16 are displayed in a layout display part 24. |
