<p>In a compost container 1 equipped with a mixing device 7 which can be driven externally by an external drive shaft 8, where the mixing device is provided with at least one mixing element 11 which is arranged in the container 1 and which is rotatable about its own axis, it is proposed that the container 1 is provided with a chamber 2 for receiving the material to be composted which is delimited at the bottom by a screen plate 3 and in which there is provided at least one mixing element 11 which is movable along a closed path and is rotatable about its own axis, the mixing element being linked to a drive mechanism 15, 19 which is driveable by the external drive shaft 8 and which governs its movements. <IMAGE></p> |
