摘要 PURPOSE:To efficiently supply the electrolyte to the positive electrode during advancement of discharge and to advance application efficiency of positive electrode so as to improve heavy load discharge characteristic and low temperature discharge characteristic of a battery by laminating the positive electrode formed by a sheet of porous carbon with the carbon fiber and thereby housing it spirally within the battery. CONSTITUTION:The positive electrode 5 is formed by a sheet of porous carbon formed, for the stainless steel mesh used as the core material 6. It is then laminated with a carbon fiber 7 and is spirally wound and finally housed into the hollow part in the side of internal circumference of a cylindrical separator 3. Thereby, even when discharge advances and the empty hole of positive electrode 5 in the vicinity of negative electrode 1 is filled with biproduct of reaction, losing empty gap, the carbon fiber 7 works as the path for supplying electrolyte to the inside of positive electrode 5, namely to the part being far from the negative electrode 1 and electrolyte may be supplied to the inside of positive electrode 5. Thereby, application efficiency of positive electrode 5 may be improved and heavy load discharge characteristic and low temperature discharge characteristic may also be improved.
