PURPOSE:To mount a variety of connectors on a printed board efficiently by holding the connectors under the state that selected press-fitting heads and pressure-receiving heads hold the printed board, and press-fitting the connectors to the mounting positions on the printed board. CONSTITUTION:Connectors 1-1 and connectors 1-2 are contained in a tray 6-1 and a tray 6-2 so that the X direction of an NC moving table 10 becomes the longitudinal directions of the connectors 1. In a press-fitting turret 11, press- fitting heads 11d-2 and 11d-3 are mounted so that the X direction of the NC moving table 20 becomes the longitudinal direction of connectors 1. By the same way, press-fitting heads 11d-1 and 11d-N are mounted so that the Y direction of the NC moving table 10 comes in the longitudinal direction at the press- fitting position. Therefore, two kinds of the connectors 1 can be press-fitted into a printed board 8 in two kinds of intersecting directions at a right angle. In this way, a variety of the connectors can be efficiently mounted. |
