<p>PURPOSE:To develop a means wherein, when an aluminum foil is manufactured, its lack of uniformity in the width direction is measured continuously, a drop in its quality due to the production of an out-of-specifications product as the aluminum foil or the generation of a wrinke is detected at an early stage and an abnormality is fed back. CONSTITUTION:A support utensil 8 in which a plurality of non-contact-type sensors 6 are installed in the width direction, is installed so as to be close to a coil take-up face 4, and the support utensil 8 is measured continuously by a coil-shape measuring apparatus equipped with a position control mechanism in which a distance up to the coil take-up face is automatically maintained to be definite according to a change in the coil take-up face.</p> |
