<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the reduction of the inner diameter of hoses, and to prevent generation of a flowing resistance, by inserting a collet form calking jig inside the inner tube of a connecting metal fitting, applying a force to a taper rod at the inner side to move it, and calking from the inner side while spreading out and expanding the collet form calking jig. CONSTITUTION:A calking jig 10 is composed of a collet form embossing unit 1 and a taper rod 2. A hose metal fitting 20 calked by the calking jig 10 is composed of an outer tube metal fitting 3, an inner tube metal fitting 4, and a connecting metal fitting 5. In the embossing unit 1, the taper other than the base part 11 is formed as plural pieces of collets 12, and plural uneven lines (or connecting lines of projections and recesses) 13 are provided at the front end of the collets 12. The taper rod 2 is to expand outward the collets 12 installed to the embossing unit 1, and it is composed of a rod base 21 and a taper bar 22. To the tube 31 of the outer tube metal fitting 3, plural uneven lines 32 (or connecting lines of projections and recesses) are formed.</p> |
