<p>PURPOSE: To provide a cassette loading device capable of reducing the number of parts and assembling processes of a video cassette recorder and enhancing operability by excluding an energizing spring for connecting individual segments of a split type transmission lever to be freely extendable and contractable. CONSTITUTION: The device includes the split type transmission lever 72 provided freely slidably on the bottom plate 12 of a deck, so as to enable rotary motion of a motor 24 to be converted into angular motion of a loading arm 54. The transmission lever is composed of the 1st segment 74 connected to the motor and the 2nd segment 76 connecting with its one end part to the loading arm and engaging the other end part with the 1st segment. Both segments are capable of relative motion in the longitudinal direction in a fixed range without using a spring. The 2nd segment is equipped with a light beam interrupting piece 80 for interrupting a light beam from a light emitting element and generating an electric driving signal and a locking finger 82 for locking the loading arm to be immovable in a loading completing position.</p> |
