PURPOSE:To obtain an electrochemical element excellent in work cycle characteristic by using a metal phosphide or an alloy mainly composed of metal phosphide as an electrode constitutional material. CONSTITUTION:As a conductive material, 5wt.% acetylene black is mixed in Li3P (lithium phosphide), and further as a binding agent, 1wt.% fluororesin is mixed. These mixtures are pressure molded by using a press machine to an electrode of 1mm thickness 1cm angle, so that a copper-made collector (expanded net) is placed in the center, to obtain a negative pole for a lithium secondary battery. On the other hand, as a positive pole active material, cobalt acid lithium (LiCoO2) is used, and fiber-state graphite is used in the conductive material, to mix PTFE as a binding material. This positive mixture is pressure molded to the electrode of 1mm thickness 1cm angle, so as to position high chrome stainless mesh (collector) in the center, to obtain a positive pole. The battery is formed by using these positive pole 5, negative pole 1, electrolyte 4, separator 3, high chrome stainless mesh 6, battery jars 7, 8 and a gasket 9. |
