PURPOSE:To obtain excellent power-generating characteristics by removing the problems such as the insufficient characteristics and the deterioration in characteristics of working life in the conventional technique. CONSTITUTION:In an Si amorphous solar battery provided with the first electrode 21 on a substrate, a semiconductor layer formed on the electrode in the order of n, i and p and the second electrode 22, the n-layer forms an amorphous n-layer 6 on the part which comes in contact with the first electrode 21, a microscopic crystal layer 7 is formed thereon, or the n-layer becomes an amorphous n-layer on the part which comes in contact with the first electrode, and besides, a microscopic crystal n-layer is formed thereon, and another microscopic n-layer is formed thereon. In the Si amorphous solar battery provided with the first electrode 21 on the substrate and semiconductor layers formed in the order of p, i and n, and the second electrode 22, the n-layer is amorphous on the part which comes in contact with the i-layer, and a microscopic crystal n-layer is formed thereon. |
