<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a tape from being damaged by a method wherein, when a stop instruction is issued during a fast-forward operation, a first motor continues driving until the first motor operates a brake by a control circuit. CONSTITUTION:Even when a stop instruction is issued in a fast-forward mode, a capstan-motor control circuit does not issue immediately a stop instruction, and a capstan motor 1 continues driving for a prescribed time. On the other hand, as soon as a stop instruction is issued, a mode motor 20 starts turning, and it moves a main rod 8 via a gear train 2, a main cam gear 21 and a main cam lever 23. When the rod 8 is moved, brake pins 11a, 12a are detached from a cam face 8b on the rod 8, and respective brakes start hitting a take-up reel stand 7 and a feed reel stand 14. Simultaneously with this operation, a regulation lever pin 9a is pressed by a cam face 8a on the rod 8, a regulation lever 9 is turned, and an oscillating gear 5 is separated forcibly from the reel stand 7. After that, the respective brakes are operated, and they act so as to stop the reel stands 7, 14. Then, the motor 1 is stopped by the control circuit.</p> |
