<p>PURPOSE:To provide an information processing system with the system which enables a character string to be inputted speedily. CONSTITUTION:This character string input system has an input decision means 101 which decides indications for operations from a keyboard and a mouse, a main control part means 102 which allocates means to operate to the respective operation indications, a character string registering means 104 which registers character strings in a character string table, a menu information setting means 105 which refers to the character strings in the character string table and stores them in a menu table, a character string retrieval means 106 which retrieves a character string specified in a menu, a character string control means 108 which determines the priority of the output of the character string stored in the menu table to the menu on a screen, a character string output means 109 which outputs the character string to a specified window, and a menu output means 111 which outputs the menu on the screen.</p> |
