PURPOSE:To provide a shift lever capable of being securely brought into a shift-lock condition under a specific condition without impairing operability, and with a simple structure. CONSTITUTION:In a stopper link 36 formed in a V shape, P-locking part 40 and N-locking part 42 are capable of being engaged with a shift lever 12 that is positioned in P-shift range or N-shift range respectively, and the stopper link is moved by a solenoid 48. P-range shift lock is achieved in the condition that the P-locking part 40 is in the position corresponding to the P-shift range, and R-inhibition is achieved in the condition that the N-locking part 42 is in the position corresponding to the N-shift range. Thus, since the shift lock is performed by a simple constitution using the stopper link 36 and the solenoid 48, shift-lock condition can be securely achieved with a simple mechanism and with a small space without impairing the operability of the shift lever 12, and also the operation timing can be easily set. |
