Time/temperature monitoring device for thermosensitive substances maintained at a positive temperature of between 0 DEG C and 84 DEG C, consisting of a reaction mixture composed of substances leading to a non-enzymatic darkening reaction which is very substantially accelerated by addition of reaction-activator compounds and water-activity regulators, the said activated reaction mixture being packaged in a hermetically closed container made of translucent material.
