Protective goggles, particularly for parachutists, comprising a profiled transparent shell (1) equipped with a central notch (10) for the nose and with a flat peripheral rim (11). The lateral edges (12) and the lower edges (13) situated on either side of the notch (10) of the shell (1) are rectilinear, the junction (14) between the said lateral edges (12) and lower edges (13) also being rectilinear, and two tabs (2) consisting of two parts (21, 22) which are articulated with respect to each other about an axis (23) are joined via one of the two parts (21) to the lateral edges (12), while the other part (22) can pivot freely about the axis (23) and has at its end a slot (220) which is substantially parallel to the said axis (23) for the fastening of a strap. <IMAGE>
