PURPOSE:To obtain the cash transaction device equipped with a function for reading and recording a paper money number and a comparative collating function for the recorded paper money number and a received paper money. CONSTITUTION:The paper money number of the received paper money 6 which is conveyed to a paper money number read part 3 is read out by an image sensor and its data is digitized by an A/D converter 10; and a comparative collation part 13 collates the paper money number recoginized by a character recognition part 11 with paper money numbers of counterfeit paper moneys which are registered on a magnetic disk 12 and an alarm unit 14 generates an alarm according to the result of the comparative collation. |
