HYBRID PROTECTION STRUCTURE

PURPOSE:To provide an excellent jet block effect for a composite type explosive cylinder by a method wherein protection structures wherein a gap between a ceramic sheet sealed in a metallic container and two plates made of a metal is filled with an explosive are combined together. CONSTITUTION:A metallic container 11 sealed with a ceramic sheet 12 is disposed and a protection structure wherein a gap between an upper plate 14 made of a metal and a lower plate 16 made of a metal is filled with an explosive 15 is disposed with a distance 13 between the metallic container 11 and protection structure. Even when a jet 43 generated by a slave explosive cylinder 42 is injected, penetration capacity of the jet 43 is blocked by the ceramic sheet 12. Further, a jet 45 generated by a parent explosive cylinder 41 is injected, penetration capacity of the jet 45 is blocked by the protection structure. An excellent jet blocking effect is provided for a composite type explosive cylinder having two explosive cylinders 41 and 42.
