This manual apparatus for cutting tiles comprises a base (12), a hard ridge (14) on the base, two guide rods (18) mounted on the base, a sliding platform (22), a cutting support (24) articulated to the said sliding platform, an actuating bar (28) fixed to the upper end of the support, a cutting wheel (30) pivotally mounted on the lower end of the support, a pressing piece (34) fixed to the rear end of the lower part of the cutting support and a gauge (40) fixed, so that it can rotate, to the opposite part of the base, a needle (48) making it possible to identify the angle of rotation of the gauge through a range of angles (50) marked on the base. <IMAGE>
