CONSTITUTION:Binary image data inputted from a scanner part 4 are supplied to an encode/decode processing part 6 and an outline smoothing processing part 7 for the unit of the prescribed number of lines. At the encode/decode processing part 6, MH or MR encoding is performed to the supplied binary images for the prescribed number of lines and at the outline smoothing processing part 7, outline vectors are extracted from the binary images. At a minimum code amount selection part 8, which data amount is less is decided, and the less amount of data are stored in a storage memory 9. At this time, a flag showing the type of data to be stored is also stored together. |
