PURPOSE:To reduce data amount in the case of recording sound signal. CONSTITUTION:A silent discrimination part 2 discriminates whether or not it is a silent frame for every frame. When the silent frame, a counter 2a is counted up. Further, when a sound frame is detected, the continuous number of the silent frame is recorded on the counter 2a in order to clear the counter 2a. Then, in a compression process part 3, the silent frame is processed as the silent frame, and the continuous number is stared as the data. Further, the format of the silent frame is made to the same format as the sound frame. |
