<p>PURPOSE:To allow quick recovery upon failure of a main bus section by providing an externally drivable disconnecting section at each joint of a plurality of lines. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of main bus lines 1, each comprising a disconnector 2 and a circuit breaker 3, are connected through connection buses 4 to constitute a gas insulated switchgear. Externally drivable disconnecting sections 5 are provided for some connecting buses 4. When a ground fault occurs at the main bus section 1 and the gas insulated switchgear is stopped entirely, the faulty part can be electrically isolated immediately upon location thereof by opening the disconnecting section 5 provided for the main bus 1 and power can be transmitted partially using the sound part and the line connected therewith. This constitution shortens the perfect power interruption time of gas insulated switchgear for the fault of main bus thus minimizes the influence thereof including the long time wide area power interruption.</p> |
