PURPOSE:To increase the mechanical strength by a method wherein an epoxy resin having polysulfide skeleton for main chain and reaction product produced by reacting polyhydric phenol carbonic acid polyhydric alcohol ester having an epoxy resin and/or polynuclear polyhydric phenol having adjacent hydroxyl group is used as a binder. CONSTITUTION:Within the title composition for resin-bond magnet comprising magnetic particles having anisotropical magnetic field exceeding 50kOe and a resin binder, the resin binder contains an epoxy resin main agent having polysulfuric skeleton for main chain and reaction product produced by reacting the epoxy resin represented by a formula I, a polyhydric phenol carbonic acid polyhydric alcohol ester having adjacent hydroxyl group in a solvent as effective components. Through these procedures, the composition providing a magnet having excellent magnetic characteristics and radial crushing strength and the resin-bonded magnet using the same can be manufactured. |
