PURPOSE:To adjust a focal point of a read light in the direction of an optical axis when an image of an original is read by forming the picture of the original with transmitted light or a reflected light by adopting the configuration of an original position adjustment means to move a reciprocating movement guide means in the direction of an optical axis. CONSTITUTION:A film mount is inserted between a carriage 15 and a rack carriage 16 in a cross sectional view and a read light from above transmits through a film original and is read by a lower optical system and a CCD being moved deeper. The carriage 15 and the rack carriage 16 is moved to a focus block 25 being guided by a couple of parallel guide bars 17. A parallel pin 26 is fitted to both ends of the focus block 25 and skided in a focal direction. A spherical projection 25b is in the center and pressed into contact with a focus cam 27 with a spring force of a retaining spring 28. A slope is formed on the face of a cam 27a of the focus cam 27 and the focus is adjusted by turning the focus cam 27. |
