PURPOSE:To prevent a change in a composition ratio of circulating medium due to storage of refrigerant in a gas tube in an indoor unit at the time of heating and to stably operate a system in a refrigerating cycle of a multi-room type air conditioner in which non-azeotrope refrigerant is used. CONSTITUTION:At the time of heating, indoor side expansion valves 7a-7c of indoor units 6a-6c of a stop state or a thermostat-off state are controlled to be slightly opened. When a discharge side pressure of a compressor 2 becomes a predetermined value or more, the valves 7a-7c are opened to predetermined opening degrees. Thereafter, when the discharge side pressure of the compressor 2 becomes the predetermined value or less, the valves 7a-7c are again slightly opened.
