PURPOSE:To control the color temperature of stroboscopic light with high accuracy regardless of the light emitting time of a light emitting tube. CONSTITUTION:No filter is installed in front of a first xenon tube 51 but an amber filter 54 is arranged in front of a second xenon tube 52, and the color temperature is matched with surrounding light E1 by synthesizing the stroboscopic beams of these xenon tubes 51 and 52. Pre-light emission is performed before main exposure, and the quantity of light reflected from an object SB is detected by a photometric sensor 21. The more this quantity of reflected light increases, the more the light emitting time of the xenon tubes 51 and 52 is shortened. Corresponding to this phenomenon, the light emitting quantity of the second xenon tube 52 relatively increases, and the light emitting quantity of the first xenon tube 51 relatively decreases. Namely, the more the light emititng time of the xenon tubes 51 and 52 is shortened, the more the color temperature is controlled to be lowered. |
