PURPOSE:To reduce the number of the components of a luminaire and allow easy mounting work by providing an integrally formed synthetic resin cover between the first and second spaces to cover a rod fluorescent lamp supported by a lamp socket in the first space and a lamp socket in the second space. CONSTITUTION:A lighting equipment has the first space at one end where a lamp socket is provided to support a rod fluorescent lamp 35 and the second space 33b at the other end where electric parts are provided to control the lighting of the rod fluorescent lamp 35. Between the first space and the second space 33b, an integrally formed synthetic resin cover 31 is provided to cover the rod fluorescent lamp 35 supported by the lamp socket in the first space and a lamp socket 38b in the second space 33b. In this way, the number of the components of the lighting equipment is reduced and easy mounting work is allowed. For example, the lamp socket provided in an opening extended in the longitudinal direction of the fluorescent lamp can be mounted on an inside wall in the first or second space without using screws. |
