PURPOSE:To obtain a master plate having excellent printing durability and high sensitivity by incorporating a specified compd. into a photosensitive layer. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive layer contains such a compd. obtd. by partially crosslinking a compd. having at least each one structure expressed by formula I and expressed by formula II with a polyfunctional crosslinking agent and then esterifying the compd. with a quinonediazide compd. In formula I, II, R1 is at least one element selected from among sulfur atom, a substd. or unsubstd. nitrogen atom, substd. or unsubstd. carbon atom, and substd, or unsubstd. silicon atom. R2-R5 are substituents and may be the same as or different from each other. As for the supporting body used, a material used for a usual waterless lithographic printing plate or any material offered can be used. The surface of the supporting body may be properly processed to improve the adhesion property with an upper layer. |
